What Is Bum Marketing: How To Make Money With A $5 Budget

Bum marketing is so called because even a bum can make money using this method. You need no outlay and can start with nothing. Absolutely zilch!

I had absolutely zilch because I had maxed out 7 credit cards. I used to laugh when I read about others doing that with just two, but I did it myself in spades! My only word to you would be very careful how you use PPC programs like Adwords because I wasnt. But thats another story.

I discovered bum marketing because if there is one thing I am good at, it is writing. Bum marketing involves finding a profitable niche, or one that could be profitable. It has to be something with a reasonable large following, and a reasonable number of topics attached to it. Like fly fishing or quilting, or something similar. Something that is followed by people you would expect to have money. You dont want people flinching at paying $97 for a product related to their hobby or interest.

You then have to find some decent keywords. For bum marketing it doesnt matter too much if there is competition for them, but not too general. Not quilting but perhaps hand quilting machines or deep throat quilters. Then get a website set up. You can get a cheap functional site for under $5 a month and then set up a website. A sales page for a product and a few pages with some content. If you can get it, register a domain name that is the same as, or relates to, one of the keywords you have chosen.

Write a few articles on the topic of your website, and use one for each of the web pages. Bum marketing is all about article writing. You should have one web page for each keyword you are using relating to your website. Find a few products to sell. If you have your own then great, but if not sell affiliate products.

Then write a few more articles and submit them to article directories. Each directory will allow you what is known as an Authors Resource Box in which you can say a little about yourself and provide a URL for people to click on for more information. The URL should lead to a page that relates to the topic of the article, and should ideally be a text link with the keyword or phrase that is the title of your web page. The text link should be hyperlinked to the page; what is termed an active link.

If the directory does not specifically provide a Resource Box, you can add that information after your article. It has to be included and will go with your article whenever it is copied and used. The article will not only bring you traffic, but also valuable links back to your web pages.

It is important that you continue to write and keep pumping out new articles. I like to write two every week and send them off to the top 25 directories. Thats all I have to do because most of the top 25 provide material to other directories, and before you know it your articles are all over the internet. Thats bum marketing.

As I said, even a bum with no money can do it. I know, because I was that bum at one time. I am no longer!

Every internet marketing guru knows how to use SEO to make money. In fact, SEO is their life blood in spite of what they will tell you in their newsletters.

Have you ever tried to check out one of their websites? How many are not on the first page for at least one of their keywords? I can answer that question none that I know of! These guys know how to do it, and they started off by themselves. OK, perhaps now they can afford to pay others to do it, but you can be pretty sure that you wont get the service that they get!

If you were paying for a service, would you like the guy you were paying to get you on the first page to offer the same service to your competition? Of course you wouldnt. SO what chance do you think you have of employing a SEO consultant and getting a top 10 position? I can answer that on no fingers!

Come on! Are you rally so nave as to believe all these claims to get you in the top 10, let alone Number 1 as some claim? OK, Number 1 for the keyword whajotys: anybody can do that (I shut my eyes and typed there). What you want is a Number 1 position for a good keyword in your niche, and nobody except Google can guarantee you that. The same applies with a top 10 position.

The only person capable of earning you a top 10 position for any page in your website is you. You have to optimize your page to make it appear attractive to the search engines. Attractive means that your web page (Google lists pages, not sites) best meets the needs of a Google search for the information that your web page provides according to the calculations of the statistical mathematical analytical system that is loosely termed the Google algorithm, applied by so-called spiders that analyze the content of each of your web pages.

If you want to use SEO to make money, you should learn how it works. Learn how to make your website attractive to the Google algorithm. Learn what semantics are and how to use them to fool the spiders. How to maximise the power of the links between the various pages in your website. How to maximise the complete latent power that is charged in each of your web pages, and how to use the content on these pages to drive an unlimited amount of traffic to your site.

That information is available to anybody who wants to seek it online, if they know what they are looking for or where to look for it. That information is available, and it can make a massive difference to your online success. Anybody with any form of online business needs to know this information and it is available for you free of charge online if your know what to look for.

The problem with many, however, is that they dont know what to look for or where to get it. They take the advice they find, only to discover too late that what they have learned is wrong. Stop being obdurate (look it up) and get it right for a change. That can make all the difference between failure and success.

How To Make Money With Resell Rights

Acquiring resell rights to products can be an easy and inexpensive way to start an Internet business. Basically you are able to purchase a product once and then sell it over and over. Before venturing into buying products with resell rights there are some things you should know.

Resell rights come in many forms and sizes. They can come in large packages with many products bundled together and offered for an almost suspiciously low price. Or they can be offered on a single product for a four-figure sum. There are also different types of rights offered allowing you to do different things.

Basic resell rights only give you the right to sell the product. You cannot claim the product is your own and you do not have permission to offer the resell rights to anyone else. Basic resell rights are usually the cheapest, so it may be easier to make a profit. Check the terms for how much you can charge for the product or if it can be given away, perhaps as a bonus with something else. There may also be conditions for distributing the product from membership and auction sites. If you are buying rights to software make sure you know the product well enough to deal with any
troubleshooting enquiries. Some software rights sellers are prepared to deal with enquiries themselves. The product may also come with a web sales page that you can use, but check for any
restrictions.

Master resell rights often include a web page with the product. They give you the right to sell the product and you can also pass on this right to your customers. However that is as far as it goes. Your customers cannot give the resell rights for the product to their customers. The best master resell rights packages will include a zip file containing everything you need to put on your download page.

There are two types of resell rights that may be referred to as private label rights. One type is where you are given the resell rights for a finished product and you are also allowed to put
your name on the product as the author. This type of product is a ready-to-sell information or software product. You cannot change it other than put your name on it.

The second type of private label rights is also known as source code rights. The product is not a finished ready-to-sell item. Instead it will be the raw source material that you can use to produce a finished item. Programs will be in the source
code format; information products will be in a word processor format, like MS Word.

You can change the product in any way you want. You can add your name as author, add more content, omit parts or split it into several products. You may also be able to sell resell rights and even master resell rights. Terms and conditions should be
posted, so check them carefully. Most private label rights packages also come with a web page and graphics that you can use for selling.

If you have found a resell rights product that you think you can sell you need to do some basic market research before purchasing. How many people are searching for this type of product? How many competing products are there? Have you seen the product available elsewhere?

If you are going to sell on the internet you need to have access to the following skills. You must be able to edit web pages, create payment links and upload the product and web pages to a server. If
you are buying private label rights you must also be able to edit the product. This is especially important if you are buying rights for software.

There are many ways you can sell products on the internet. You can usually set up your own website or add the sales page to your existing site. You could invest in pay per click ads or ezine ads. You could write articles. If you have private label rights to a book you can use some of the content to produce articles or even a free report for viral marketing.

Resell rights offer the advantage of not having to produce your own material. However, you need to be sure the product is good quality and that you have a good marketing plan.

How To Make Money With JV Giveaways

It’s no secret that JV Giveaways are a great way to get free marketing products. In fact you can get almost any marketing product with resale rights simply by visiting JV Giveaways and simply signing up and joining other marketers email lists. Lets take a look at the other side of JV Giveaways and find out what being a JV partner is all about and how it can make you money.

In order to do this you will need to get some hosting, either free or paid. You will also need to have an autoresponder, this can be either free or paid as well. The last thing you need is to know how to make a simple web page.

The first thing you will have to do if you want to make money from being a JV partner is get something to sell. The best place to do that is coincidentally a JV Giveaway. If you don’t know of any JV Giveaways that are currently running you can check out limitedtimedeals dot guruofinfo dot com.

Once you join the JV Giveaway you will want to find a few products that are not seen as often and where made recently. If possible try and find about ten products like this. You will be taking about three and giving them away and using the rest to make a package to sell.

In order to do this you will need to know how to make a simple sales page for your one time offer (OTO), a thank you page, and the giveaway page. Most JV Giveaways now have the capability to enter your email list form into their site so you will not have to make a signup page.

The next thing you will have to do is find a way to gather emails. You can do this with a script hosted on your site, a free autoresponder service, or a paid autoresponder service. Getting a paid autoresponder service like Aweber is always preferred but if you are on a tight budget you can use a free autoresponder site.

To find a free autoresponder service to use for your JV Giveaway simply do a search on Google. You should come up with several pages of results. The best ones to look for are those who do not use advertisements in your emails.

The next thing you will need to have is some form of web site hosting. If you already have a host then you are doing good. If you would like to get a good host for your business I would recommend Dream Host. If you cannot afford to pay for web site hosting then simply find a free one. Like the free autoresponder try to find one that does not display ads on your site.

Now it is time to make your simple sales page. This is the page going to be used for your OTO. New members of your list will see this page before they get there free products. This will be one of the two ways that you can make money from JV Giveaways.

Your OTO should be short, sweet and to the point. This page will consists of a headline, opening paragraph, short talk about the benefits, list of products with descriptions, bulleted list of benefits, guarantee, order link, a conclusion with P. S.’s and the link to your free products.

You will want to start your page off with an attention grabbing headline and follow it up with an equally strong sub headline. Keep in mind that you are selling to marketing newbies so try to keep focused on them. Your headline should point out the main benefit of having what you are selling. The sub headline should point out the second best benefit.

You may have to tweak your headline until it is strong since the pages visitor is not here to buy something. The freebie crowd is a hard one to get to buy but the key is to make it cheap and a very good value.

The next part of your page will be your opening text. Make sure that your first paragraph keeps your readers attention. Your opening text should be about three paragraphs and tell all about the benefits of having the products.

Note: It will be allot easier to write your mini sales page if you have actually read and like the products you are selling.

The third part of the OTO page you will be using for JV Giveaway’s will actually tell the visitor what the products are. To do this it is best to use a table two cells wide. On the one side you will want to put a picture of the products cover. On the other you will want to put the title of the product along with a brief description.

If you need to find pictures for your products the best way is to use Google’s images search engine. It can be found on Google’s main page by clicking the images link.

The next thing your mini sales page needs is some benefit bullets. The best way to make your benefit bullets is to directly reference parts of the products. This will arouse curiosity in your reader, hopefully enough to buy the books so they can find the answer. For example do something like the following.

Try to do at least one of these benefit bullets for each book. If you have a hard time finding one for each book it is time to rethink what you are going to sell. You want the products to be useful to your customers. If you cannot find at least one good thing to mention then you should scrap using that book in your sale.

The next thing you need on your mini sales page is a guarantee. Most people use a thirty to sixty day money back guarantee. If you sell your package for low enough though you may never see a refund request. Just in case though keep enough to refund two or three sales in your acct.

Now you will need to put an order button on this sales page. The easiest way to accept payments is to use PayPal. Once you have signed up or signed in to PayPal you can consult help to find out how to make your button. I strongly suggest selling your package for only $5 through $15.

This will also be the time you think of a name for your thank you page. Use something other than thankyou.html so it is not to easy to guess. The address to this page will be where your button sends customers after a successful purchase. Also make sure you get your payment button encrypted so that others cannot steal your products.

Now it is time to wrap up your sales page. In this you need to write a closing paragraph or two that tell more about the benefits and state that your visitor will never see this page again. Next you will need to write a small series of post scripts (P. S.). These will restate the benefits again.

The last part will be to add a link to your free products. This is at the very end so hopefully new members will read your sales page. You will also want to put it very close to the post scripts so they will get a glimpse at the products benefits before getting their free products. This is where you will name your free page.

Now that your mini sales page is done you will need to upload the sales page and it’s pictures to your host. Once it is uploaded make sure the page loads correctly and check your order button to ensure that it works.

Now you will want to make the remaining two pages that are needed for your JV Giveaway. Both of these will be really short and very simple.

The first one will be your free page. This page can be named most anything since it really does not matter if someone stumbles upon it. This page will be very simple and consists of only a thank you message and a link to the products.

Note: It will be easier on you and your list members if you zip the products being offered in the packages. This will cut down on the number of links you need to make as well as the number they need to click on to get their products.

The second and last page you need to make will be your thank you page. This page is very similar to the free page you just made. It to will consist of a thank you message and a download link. The only way anybody should get access to this page is by buying your OTO.

Now that you have that out of the way it is time to setup your email list. The first thing you will need to do create your list. This list can be named whatever you like. You will also need to make a simple message the member will get when they sign up.

This message will welcome them and have a link for them to get their free products that leads to your OTO. You should also be able to have them sent to the OTO after signing up. The email will serve as a reminder.

Most importantly you will need to get the code for your signup form. Go ahead and copy this code to an empty text document for right now since you will need it soon.

Congratulations the hardest part is now behind you. Now all you have to do is signup as a JV partner in as many JV Giveaways as possible. To do this revisit the Limited Time Deals site mentioned earlier. You should see something that refers to signing up as a JV partner in each JV Giveaway announcement. If you do not the giveaway most likely quit accepting new JV partners.

Find whatever ones you can that are still accepting new partners and sign up for them. Once you have completed your registration and signed in you should see a list of links. You will need to go to the partners area and then click on manage gifts.

Now simply fill in all of the fields. I strongly suggest that you copy the contents of each field to the same text document that you put your form code on. This will save you time in the long run. Make sure that you choose the option to put your form code on the JV Giveaways site. This makes it easier on your new subscribers and you.

You should get an email telling you that your JV Partner gift was accepted. Once the JV Giveaway launches you should notice several list signup’s each day and hopefully some sales.

You may have to tweak your sales page until you get it working well. The good news is you will be getting enough visitors to test and change it daily. Once you get it selling well all of this will be worthwhile.

It will be fairly easy to build your list by a few thousand a month if you are in multiple giveaways. So it would be very wise of you to use your new list to your advantage.

The next time you sign up for a new JV Giveaway send a simple email to your list telling them about it. Many JV Giveaway’s will supply you with these emails that already have your referral link in them. When your list members join you can make commissions on the JV Giveaways OTO.

After you have set everything up making money with JV Giveaways can be easy sailing. Pay close attention to what other JV partners are doing and try to mimic their success. The longer you keep at this the better you will get and the more you will make. This is one of the easier ways to make money and get tons of great free products.

How To Make Money On The Internet! Or How Not To!

Well if you are reading this article then that means you really
want to make money online!

But I bet your totally confused and dont know whats real anymore?

And your probably kind of sick of all seeing the same things and over and over again, and not knowing if they work. You probably hear positive things and negative things about every program out there. I know I do!

Seriously if I see one more web page or add about selling on ebay or filling out surveys im going to go crazy.

Ive been on the internet now for along time, Ive gone in circles and tried everything there is to make money. After all things are said and done, the main thing I realized is, if someone is trying to sell you the information for a dollar amount $ (whatever it may be) without giving you even the slightest idea of what you are buying, then DONT BUY IT!

You will end up getting the same thing you probably bought 3 times already.

I think it is pointless for a business to try and sell something to a customer, but yet only tell you You will make money! umm ya how?

I mean thats like going into a shoe store and the sales person saying Buy these shoes, they will help you walk, but you cant see them until you give me the money!

WOULD YOU BUY THE SHOES?

The best plan for any business that I can give advice to, is come up with a business plan where you tell the customer what their doing and how its done, but only hold back say: the name of the company you need to buy the products from or whatever it may be.

There are a few sites out there that are actually worth your time and will offer you free information. These sites are often ignored because they are free, and for some reason today in society people seem to think if something is free then it is of no value! Thats actually the farthest thing from the truth. The best things in life are free, (we all know this).

I am going to go over a few things that repeatedly show up on the internet again and again, trying to make you buy their information, only to find out that you will make less money doing what they suggest, than what you paid for it!

1. Selling on Auction sites or Buying wholesale lists.(Drop shipping)

Ok selling on auction sites can be a means to earn money, but it depends on what youre selling. If you own a brick and mortar store (a real live store) it can be a way to add to your revenue and sell extra things on the side. But selling of the internet (droppshiped item) or buying wholesale items, is usually a complete waste of time. Think about how many people those wholesale lists are available to, and how many people are going to be competing with you to sell that same item. This in turn leaves you with very little profit. Not to mention that almost all wholesale lists online are out of date and most of the time the items are not even actually whole sale priced. Plus you must pay the listing fee for your item, the final sale value %, and then other fees for processing payments! In the end you really only made like $3 and hour. Is that worth your time?

Im not saying every product is like that, there are a few niche items (if you can find them) that might sell well and have a good conversion for you, but as soon as you find them so will someone else, and on and on the cycle goes!

2. Filling out Surveys.

DONT DO IT!

This has to be the biggest waste of time on the internet today. I personally have never even touched that area. I know allot of people who have though, and it has only led to disappointment. There are so many sites promising you $10 here $40 there to fill out a simple online survey.

Ok so first they want you to pay to find out where the surveys are, and then when you pay them and go to fill out the surveys you find out that to your surprise, you must qualify to fill out the survey. For example: You must be between 59 and 510 , weight 62lbs and not eat for three days, you must have black hair and blue eyes and live on the moon! So hmm I guess I dont get the $40?

Or you can fill out 2 hour surveys about what brand of toothpaste you like and you will get paid $2! Need I say more?

3. Online Rebate Processors

This one is kind of new to the online world of offers. There are a few sites (that look very similar!) that offers you a list of people to work for, and promising you $15 a rebate. OK this depends on the price of the rebate, the company you are issuing the rebate for and on and on. As far I know, there is only one company that actually pays that (off the list they give you) and they wont accept any more employees. So unless you want to spend $40 to get the list and then make about $1 a rebate, dont waste your time.

4. Billing processor, medical billing specialist or transcriptionist.

All I have to say about this one is if you are interests make sure you look for work through a local business that you can actually talk to and call. Or you will end up working for some random office in Malaysia or some foreign country getting paid .12 cents an hour.

5. Paid to surf

There are many, many sites out there promising you money to surf the net or read emails. Thats because they are trying to get you to sign up for their programs. You get paid like .1 cent an email and a few cents a web page as long as youre at the web page for at least 30 to 60 seconds. That’s a total waste of time.

6. Getting a free website to sell other peoples things!

Ok this will make you a few buck here and there, but the amount it costs to advertise, and then the small % you get back in return isnt really worth it. Really you are just making money for the person above you and they are giving you a very small % of what they make. Also there is so much competition in this market that you have to find a very small niche with very specific products that are not so over marketed.

7. Forex (trading currencies)

Is actually one of the best ways to make money online, if you practice a little and know what youre doing. The reason some people over look this is because there is a work involved and you need to learn the system. Its not a get rich quick scheme, but it is a get rich long term scheme.

Forex is : The currency trading (FOREX) market is the biggest and fastest growing market on earth. Its daily turnover is more than 2.5 trillion dollars. The participants in this market are banks, organizations, investors and private individuals, just like you.

8. The EASY FREE INCOME SYSTEM

This is a hard to explain system, but I have used it for over a year and its worked for me this long. The reason I think its a good system in the first place is because of exactly what I said earlier, you dont have to pay a single cent to get all the information there is to get about the system. People make a great living off of it and its totally free. You get a free ebook to read it all over, and it doesnt involve anything I have mentioned above. No marketing, no forms, no calling, no selling or buying, no emailing, no nothing really! And when somethings free and promises to make you a good income, I always check it out. Its something I enjoy, its fun and I make really good money from it. Its not hard to do and you get all the info for free, which is a huge bonus from my point of view or anyone that is trying to find a good income earner but dont want to pay before they know what it is!

So that is my opinion on the latest online money makers! I cant speak for everyone, but I have extensively tested or know someone who has tested, all the methods above.

I hate to see people waste their time, because there are so many things out there that are a huge time waster.

I have been online now for along time, and have tested program after program, I wrote this article to share my ventures and to try to give some advice, whoever it may help, so that people who are new to the online industry of making money might have some direction on where to go or what to try and not try.
